Amber singing was totally the creepiest point of this episode. But oh Hugh Laurie ♥ His acting was absolutely superb here. Not that it isn't always, but still, omg! I am loving all the crazy stuff, haha, I secretly hope it's schizophrenia, that would be kind of awesome.
I'm really not into House/Cuddy and I kind of cringed during the kissing. I'm hoping it was all a hallucination, because, seriously, detoxing only takes one night? And the next day you're fit enough for some lovin'? It probably wasn't though, given the preview, and my arguments don't really stand up against the general lack of realism the writers the writers embrace.
All through the detoxing, I was thinking it should have been Wilson there. I know there has been hinting at some emotional bond between House and Cuddy, but we've never actually seen it. I think he (House, or maybe they, the writers) chose not to make it Wilson because Wilson wouldn't have been strong enough to deny House his Vicodin. It's been well established that he's enables and indulges House way too much.
